FBA shipping will be adjusted in this new year and some rules of FBA changed again.
The core of the new FBA inventory compensation policy is that for goods lost or damaged before consumers place an order, the refund amount will be calculated based on the manufacturing cost of the goods.
In other words, Amazon’s compensation standard will no longer be based on the sales price of the goods, but will be calculated based on the manufacturing cost of the goods, and the manufacturing cost does not include shipping, handling fees, tariffs or other fees. However, for goods lost or damaged after buyers place an order on Amazon Mall, Amazon will continue to compensate according to the sales price of the original order minus applicable fees.
The extension of the new Amazon FBA inventory compensation policy has bought more time for sellers. Sellers should take countermeasures as soon as possible, conduct a comprehensive audit of historical orders, and get more claims before the policy takes effect.
This rule will adjusted in the worldwide fba warehouse like USA, UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA Germany and some European countries. Shipping to these fba warehouse need carefully checked and obey the Amazon new rules.
